Dawn Damon is available for interviews, podcast guest appearances, and media features. She speaks as an authority on women’s empowerment, midlife transformation, trauma recovery, and faith-based personal development.
Dawn Damon knows what it feels like to lose everything and start over. In her late 40s, she faced divorce, an empty nest, job loss, and financial ruin all in one year. She could have stayed stuck. Instead, she got brave.
As a triumphant survivor of abuse and oppression, Dawn turned her pain into purpose and built a thriving coaching and speaking enterprise from the ground up. Today, she’s the founder and CEO of BraveHearted Woman Coaching, a transformational growth and development company designed to awaken the vision of women-dreamers and call them to rise up and live their best lives.
Dawn is an ordained minister with a special emphasis in trauma support and biblical counseling. Over 25 years, she served as Director of Support and Healing Groups in a mega church, as Executive Pastor of three organizations, and as Founder and Lead Pastor of Tribes Church in Grand Rapids, MI. She also founded the Lives of Value (LOV) Conference and The FreedomGirl Sisterhood, both safe spaces for women to shed the past and step into their callings.
Certified as a life coach in 2018, Dawn focused her gifts and decades of ministry experience into a coaching model built around her signature 5 Fortitudes of a BraveHearted Woman. Her #1 best-selling book, The Making of a BraveHearted Woman: Courage, Confidence, and Vision in Midlife, is now available in workshop and conference form.
Dawn is the creator and host of The BraveHearted Woman podcast, a weekly show encouraging women to unleash their full potential. She is a featured contributor to Salem Radio’s Life! Line with Craig Roberts in San Francisco, the nation’s 4th largest radio market, and has an extensive history in both radio and television.
As a speaker, Dawn is captivating, unforgettable, and transformational. Through storytelling, biblical truth, coaching, and splashes of humor, she awakens the gifts and callings in every person in the room. She lives in the Grand Rapids, MI area with her husband Paul, their 5 children, and 11 grandchildren.
